Mariana Torres works at Apple Valley Unified School District (TK-12) as the Director of Equity and Access.  She has served in education for the last 27 years in multiple capacities from a bilingual paraeducator, bilingual teacher, ELD TOA, assistant principal at both elementary and secondary levels, and as a site principal before her current position at the district office.  She has a Criminal Justice Bachelor’s degree from Cal State Fullerton with a minor In Spanish and a Dual Master’s degree from Chapman University in Curriculum and Instruction & Educational Leadership and Administration.
