Jeanmarie brings experience in advocacy, education, and technology to Moneythink. Within the Product Designer role, she is driven by the opportunity to combine her practitioner’s expertise in higher education with technology, to design digital tools serving the most vulnerable populations. Previously, Jeanmarie served at Code for America, where she led the design of an app for justice-impacted communities. As a first-generation college student, Jeanmarie is motivated by Moneythink’s mission of breaking down barriers, in order to build long-lasting systemic change for students like herself. She earned her BA from UC Santa Barbara and M.Ed from the University of Southern California and is the founder of the civic-tech nonprofit, Code for Santa Barbara.
