Janae Aptaker is the Director of Program and Strategy at Stockton Scholars, a Program of the Reinvent Stockton Foundation. Her vision of success is true equity in education and opportunity for all of Stockton’s young people and across our country, in particular for BIPOC students who have yet to realize their full potential or the power of their voices in the world. For the past 3 years, Janae has dedicated her service to that purpose through the mission of the Stockton Scholars program. The impetus and core activities of the program are designed to make intentional investments (financial, social-emotional and academic) into their lives and overall to the next generation of Stocktonians.
Janae was recently awarded Hometown Hero for the Stockton Kings G-League team and she’s spent the past two years serving as the Co-Chair of the Partnerships Committee with the Northern CA College Promise Coalition. In April 2022, she will take on the role of Vice Chair of the Steering Committee for NCCPC.
