Coachella Valley native Alfonso Olachea serves his community as the 8th grade counselor at Desert Ridge Academy. In his 5th year as a school counselor, Olachea is working on his Ed.D at the University of Redlands and works as a musician and instructor for Coachella Valley Unified School District. He wishes to complete his program in the upcoming year and continue his research as a school counselor.
