To expand our reach, the California Student Aid Commission launched the Fall 2020 Cash for College Train the Trainer Program. The Statewide Cash for College Train the Trainer Program provides new and existing community partners with the training and resources to host their own Cash for College Workshops to assist students in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA). This program will expand on the Cash for College workshops to reach more students and assist in financial aid completion. This presentation will give participants a quick walk-through of the financial aid applications (FAFSA/CADAA/CHAFEE) while showing them how to become certified to host statewide Cash for College workshops for students and parents.
