Paloma Valley High
School Counselor
Azusa Pacific University
M.A. in Educational Counseling and Pupil Personnel Services

As a first-generation college student, I know firsthand how stressful college admissions can be. I love helping people and I found a passion for assisting people with the college search and funding their future. I decided to become a counselor so I could provide the best service and mentor students during this critical time. As a counselor, I pride myself on being competent and motivated. I am passionate about high school and college/career counseling and I display a strong interest in student success. Since 2001, I have worked in education and as a high school counselor since 2007.

Currently, I work as a high school counselor at Paloma Valley High in the Perris UHSD which allows me to stay on top of current admissions trends and put my knowledge into practice. I form strong relationships with families, I am friendly and easy to talk to. I love to take on challenges because they allow me the opportunity to grow.
